Cary Elwes and Lisa Marie attended the Los Angeles premiere of From the Earth to the Moon at the Century Plaza Cinemas on 31 March 1998. The archive photograph records their arrival for the HBO production's launch.
The miniseries was co-produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Tom Hanks and Michael Bostick and aired on HBO from April to May 1998. Elwes portrayed Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins.
From the Earth to the Moon traced the Apollo programme across 12 episodes and later received the Television Critics Association's Program of the Year award.
