On 3 November 2001, Emma Bunton performed at the Capital Radio Fireworks Party at Crystal Palace in London. Twenty-five years later, this five-picture selection revisits the stage, with three photographs of Bunton alongside performance shots of Liberty and Super Sister.
Bunton wears a pale hat, a tan shaggy jacket over a white top and black flared trousers. In the lead photograph, she sings into a microphone with one arm raised. Another frame catches her pointing out towards the audience; a third shows her singing with a hand resting on her hip.
The wider stage photographs bring the groups into view. Liberty spread out across the stage during a dance routine, while Super Sister sing in long coats in front of the Capital FM backdrop. Stage lighting, microphones and the radio station branding connect the performances across the selection.
The original archive captions identify all five photographs as performances at the Capital Radio Fireworks Party at Crystal Palace and date them to 3 November 2001. They record a London pop event at the beginning of November, twenty-five years ago. All photographs are credited to Big Pictures Archive.
