On 24 September 2001, the London premiere of Enigma brought film stars, musicians and royalty to the Odeon Leicester Square. Six reviewed archive images show Saffron Burrows, Dougray Scott, Prince Charles, Mick Jagger, Sting and Jeremy Northam arriving for the screening.
Burrows and Scott represented the film's cast, while Northam joined them on the premiere carpet. Prince Charles attended in black tie, Jagger greeted photographers beside his car and Sting arrived through a bank of cameras.
Together, the photographs preserve the arrivals at one London premiere, from close portraits to full-length views of the crowded Leicester Square entrance.
